Description
- Define and implement volume objectives within price range.
- Develop critical account plans including all competitive sales, process and application details
- Allocate field sales resources, including calling capacity, product and customer segments. Ensure cost control and coordinate after sales service.
- Develop sales training and sales approaches.
- Propose compensation and incentives, including special incentives, where appropriate to Human Resources.
- "Fine tune" prices received from marketing manager to customers within indicated ranges.
- Give input to the Regional Business Plan, including detailed sales forecasts by customers: bring specific customer and market knowledge as input for the final offer.
- Provide formalized systematic market intelligence to the business segment Manager.
- Manage, monitor, support, and control the sales force.
- Agree, monitor and achieve sales team targets and be accountable for the overall team performance.
- Financial performance indicators: Volume, Revenue, AR collection and SG&A control
- Coaching and growing organization: develop VP selling skills, knowledge and motivate team to achieve targets.
- Run Business Planning & Performance Management (business overview, agreement details, objectives & targets, activity plan)
- Act as business consultant, to efficiently manage relations with the key customers and distributors
Qualifications
This position requires knowledge of marketing/commerce and/or business economics with emphasis on industrial marketing, to the level acquired in at least a Bachelor degree program or equivalent. Position holder has international industrial sales experience in implementing marketing concepts, and introducing products in the market. He/she has significant experience in managing all sales activities aimed at realizing maximum sales.
Position holder is commercial creative, is a logical and systematic thinker and has excellent communication and reporting abilities and is able to build and maintain optimal customer relationships.
Position holder shall have proven track record in coaching, leading and inspiring teams with significant sales experience, and proven success in developing profitable business (5+years experience, strong customer focus, preferably with Key Accounts and Distributors, Channel Management experience, Marketing, Finance and / or Business knowledge.)
The Sales Manager must have excellent communication abilities, be fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and writing).
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Proficient in
Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail
Good communicational skills needed and the capability to manage and motivate professional staff members, and has to be experienced in project management. Pronounced leadership qualities are mandatory for this position.
