Description
- Assist in the collection, analysis, testing and recording of machine samples.
- Perform bio-stick dip tests of all machine sumps and central systems.
- Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, air handling systems etc. for sump changes and cleaning, as required to keep fluids within proper limits under the direction of the Site Manager.
- Participate in addition of chemicals, including coolants, greases, oils, lubricants, cleaners and biocides, as directed by the site staff.
- Assist in properly maintaining tools and utility equipment.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating all lab equipment.
- May be required to operate industrial equipment, such as fork trucks, sump suckers, power washers, tuggers, etc.
- Will be required to work flexible hours.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Will be required to walk long distances, often over slippery and/or oily surfaces. Will be required to stand for long periods, climb ladders and stairs carrying sample equipment and samples. Must be able to work independently and in extremely hot conditions, with temperatures up to 100oF.
High School diploma or GED required. Some College preferred, up to five years experience in a manufacturing environment. Practical experience with tools, equipment and with computer use.
