Description
- Assist Regional VAR Manager in defining a distribution strategy for assigned distributors; give input to the Regional Business Plan; bring specific distributor and market knowledge as input for the final offer.
- Facilitate profitable growth of Quaker business at assigned distributors.
- Define and implement volume objectives at assigned distributors within price range and offer designed and approved by the Industry Business Manager.
- Develop distributor plans including competitive sales, process, application and services details. Co-ordinate timing and consult technology and sales managers on (actual) key distributor issues.
- Propose compensation and incentives, including special incentives, where appropriate.
- Provide formalized systematic distributor and competitive intelligence to the Industry Business manager.
- Manage, monitor, support, and control all activities at assigned distributors; establish, benchmark and monitor distributor performance criteria.
Qualifications
Candidate requires knowledge of marketing/commerce and/or business economics with emphasis on industrial marketing, to the level norm acquired in at least a Bachelor degree program or equivalent. Candidate should have international industrial sales experience in implementing marketing/key account concepts, and introducing products in specialty distribution markets. Must have experience in managing all sales activities aimed at realizing maximum sales/margin.
Candidate is commercial creative, a logical and systematic thinker and has excellent communication and reporting abilities and is able to build and maintain optimal customer relationships.
The Value Added Reseller Manager must have excellent communication abilities, be fluent in English (verbal and writing) and a second regional language and is characterized by e.g. following qualities: customer oriented, leader, strategic, result and action oriented, team player, systematic, worldly outlook, creative, extrovert, team builder and sense of humor.
