ALUSHIELD™

Proven aluminum hot rolling lubricant chemistry for all aluminum hot rolling mill configurations, utilizing hydrolytically stable synthetic esters for superior boundary lubrication.  Has the ability to withstand unique operational challenges of caster fed rolling mills.  Zero or low free fatty acid formulations, bio-hard in terms of resistance to microbiological attack, documented improvement in work roll life.

B-SERIES

Established and robust aluminum hot rolling lubricants with consistent chemistry specifically formulated for all aluminum hot rolling mill configurations.  Utilized by multiple mills producing world class anodized quality strip for the beverage can industry.  Boundary lubrication relies on natural/synthetic esters and fatty acids.

FERROCOTE®

Temporary or permanent corrosion preventives; typically used on ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces, in a multitude of industries, including, but not limited to: automotive, appliance, construction, and lawn and garden.  The products are compatible with virtually every metal type and commonly used elastomers; providing lubrication, scratch resistance and protection from the atmosphere.  Further, the products are safe for downstream processes such as welding, adhesives, cleaning and paint. Specifically developed to protect metal surfaces from corrosion for up to one year (with proper cover) and can be applied using spray, dip, brush or electrostatic techniques.

QUAKER QUAKEROL®

Aluminum Cold Rolling Additives:  specifically designed additives to facilitate aluminum cold rolling with solvent based coolants.  Formulated for both single and multi-stand breakdown, finish or foil mills.

Aluminum Hot Rolling Lubricants:  State of the art lubricants to provide roll protection, surface defect elimination, mill productivity improvements, and energy savings for industries ranging from automotive to construction, in aluminum hot rolling.

Cupper Lubricants - state-of-the-art aluminum and tinplate cupper lubricants; include products applied neat or as emulsions. Facilitate the drawing of sheet metal into cups; provides a proper surface for the subsequent bodymaking process; provides excellent lubrication in the cup and can making processes; provides maximum protection against bleed-through in aluminum can making; and gives ferrous and nonferrous corrosion protection to can making equipment and tooling.

Bodymaker Lubricants - high performance lubricants. Easily cleaned in either acidic or alkaline cleaning processes. Includes both synthetic and semi-synthetic bodymaker coolants.

Bottle Can Necking Lubricants - high lubricity, FDA compliant necker lubricants for bottle can and aluminum aerosol production applications. Easily rinsed off  in conventional bottle rinser systems.

Post Lubricants - organic coatings for aluminum can body sheet that are generally applied electrostatically at the aluminum mill. These products provide corrosion and scratch protection and also have lubrication properties to aid in subsequent cupping and can drawing operations. Products are designed to provide superior bleed-through protection and cutting-forming characteristics.

Scalping Lubricants -  low viscosity, semi-synthetic fluids that contain additives specially designed for “scalping” of aluminum ingots.  Formulated with polar agents to give the product high lubricity, which increase the tool life when compared to traditional lubricants used for the removal of aluminum oxide on the surfaces of ingots.

QUAKLEEN™

Tinplate Cleaners  -  alkaline spray cleaners formulated with low foaming surfactants used in Stages 1 and 2 of tinplate washer systems to remove residual lubricants. Designed to run in either city or soft water systems.

Aluminum Cleaners - neutral cleaners designed to run under alkaline conditions for cleaning residual lubricants and aluminum fines from aluminum cans. Designed to be fluoride-free and environmentally equipment and user friendly.

QUINTOLUBRIC®

QUINTOLUBRIC 888 SERIES products - 100% active, biodegradable synthetic polyol ester fire resistant hydraulic fluids. The 888 Series is compatible with all hydraulic systems designed for mineral oil based fluids and is approved by Factory Mutual Research Corporation.

QUINTOLUBRIC 807 SERIES products - light duty, high water content hydraulic fluid concentrates designed for air-over-oil or large volume plunger pump systems in steel mills, foundries, resistance welded tube mills, offshore blowout preventers, and subsea production control systems.

QUINTOLUBRIC 801 & 804 SERIES products - mineral oil based, functional fluids (gear box, spindle head, way, and hydraulic lubes). Emulsify when leakage enters water extended recirculated machining and grinding systems or cold rolling emulsion sumps.
