RapidShield™

A layer of RapidShield coating is applied with a roller or brush to a prepared, clean floor (A). When exposed to UV light from the mobile curing unit, the coating instantly turns into a solid film and creates a strong bond to the substrate (B)—resulting in an immediately usable, long-lasting surface that is exceptionally durable and easy to maintain. RapidShield™ is a unique, proprietary blend of oligomers, monomers, additives, photoinitiators and pigments that provide a long-lasting, tough finish for industrial floors. This unique, proprietary blend results in a film with cross-link density that provides a perfect balance of hardness and flexibility. It also provides chemical resistance that is superior to most traditional industrial floor coatings. Unlike many of these traditional industrial coatings, RapidShield may be used on floors that are exposed to direct sunlight without experiencing the usual rapid loss of gloss or discoloration.
